Grant County Court approved its consent agenda on March 18, which included Resolution 26-08 (an intrafund transfer) and Resolution 26-09 transferring $170,000 in Title III funds to the library to expand broadband access for students for expenses incurred between Sept. 19 and June 30, 2025. The transfers were recorded together in the consent approvals.
The court also reviewed and approved an agreement designating Education Service District Superintendent Robert Waltenburg as the county's Chief Information Officer (CIO), formalizing ESD's provision of IT services at no direct cost to the county. The wolf depredation committee recommended Tom Winters to fill a vacancy through June 30, 2028, and the court approved two emergency management change orders related to an underground tank Level One environmental review and an HVAC condensing unit; the change orders were noted as within project budgets.
