The board unanimously appointed Dr. Angela Dillman as Arcadia Unified’s Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment following Daniel Hacking’s retirement. District leaders described Dillman as a "homegrown" leader who progressed from teacher to ASB director and assistant principal and said she would bring continuity and experience to the role.
Brent Forsey introduced Dillman and praised her leadership. "I'm so unbelievably grateful for all of the opportunities I've had in Arcadia... I'm committed to working really hard and doing my very best," Dr. Dillman said after the vote. The appointment passed 5–0 and board members offered thanks and congratulations.
