Student representatives Serena Guo and Kelly Fong opened the board’s student report, summarizing Homecoming activities and turnout. "Homecoming took place on October 12 at the Santa Anita Clubhouse with over 1,000 students in attendance," the student report said, noting performances, club activities and a successful homecoming assembly.
Strategy and innovation staff later congratulated the high school and technology teams for successfully running the district’s second year of all-digital PSAT testing. "Our team added 20 extra access points to allow for over 1,037 students to take it on the same day," Gazzanian told the board, noting real-time connection monitoring and plans to improve for next year.
The combined updates highlighted student engagement across athletics, performing arts and testing logistics; board members used the comments to thank staff and volunteers supporting these events.
