The Lantana Town Council authorized $25,000 in engineering services to support construction of a pavilion at the Mattock Park dog park. Director Crockett told the council the project is tied to a 75/25 match with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and that the town's portion will be covered from the approved budget.
Director Crockett said, "Kimmy Horn has provided a proposal for $25,000 and seek your support in approving this this evening," and council members voiced support for the improvement, noting the dog park is heavily used. The motion to approve CSA 2024‑05 with Kimberly Horn and Associates carried by voice vote, 5‑0.
