Town Clerk Kathleen Dominguez presented the proposed Lantana Town Council meeting schedule for calendar year 2025 and asked council to consider canceling or rescheduling dates that conflict with major holidays.
"Staff recommends either canceling or rescheduling the Monday, 05/26/2025 meeting due to Memorial Day holiday," Dominguez said, and listed other candidate dates for cancellation or rescheduling. After brief discussion about workshop alternatives and the county schedule, Council member Morehouse moved to adopt the proposed 2025 schedule with the recommended cancellations; Council member Mason seconded. The motion passed unanimously, recorded as 4-0.
The clerk and staff will publish the approved calendar and add any additional meeting dates if agendas require them later in the year. The council noted that budget adoption and heavy agendas will be handled by workshops if necessary.
