She said Feeding South Florida distributed 81,000,000 pounds of food last year across four counties and plans to distribute 125,000,000 pounds this year.
Talbot invited residents to volunteer, donate or schedule a tour of local facilities and said individual actions contribute to broader advocacy during Hunger Action Month.
