Minidoka County commissioners approved multiple procurement items tied to the misdemeanor probation office remodel and courthouse carpeting during the April 13 meeting. The board approved a 67% advance requested by Longhorn Fencing totaling $7,063.98 on a motion by Commissioner Schaeffer, seconded by Commissioner Koyle. The motion carried.
Commissioner Koyle moved to approve a Magic Valley Carpet quote for the Misdemeanor Probation Office in the amount of $25,586.47 for carpet and installation; Commissioner Schaeffer seconded and the board approved the purchase. The board also approved buying carpet tiles for the courthouse upstairs for $18,653.25 to be paid out of PILT funds. Staff and workgroup members updated tasks and assignments for the remodel during the meeting.
