Leslie Hagenstein praised AcuRecovery training tied to opioid-treatment efforts and public comment supported continued use of the method. Scott Cheeny requested permission to place a dedication sign for Mike Vargo at the county golf-course driving range; the board asked Cheeny to prepare sign examples for a future meeting. Public commenter Bill Ames (representing Mule Deer Alliance concerns) urged the board to deny the Sublette Trails Association proposal for a bike trail on Skyline Drive and to send a comment letter to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The board deferred action on the trail, asked staff (Jeness) to check the BLM comment deadline, and requested more detailed information from the Rec Board on the trail request.
None of the public comments produced immediate county action at the meeting; the Skyline Drive trail proposal was tabled for future discussion and the driving-range sign request will return with specific sign examples.
