Topeka council approves routine minutes, financials and fund transfer

The Topeka Town Council convened June 22, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. and approved the meeting agenda and a series of routine items, including minutes from the June 8 common council meeting and the June 18 staff meeting. Council President Adam Lambright called the meeting to order and the clerk recorded roll call; motions to approve the agenda and minutes passed unanimously.
Council approved April and May 2026 monthly financial reports and the revenue and expenditure report as of May 31, 2026. The council also approved a $3,338 receipting from FIT & CVET dated June 12, 2026, to be deposited into the Rainy Day Fund. Claims and the executive-session minutes of June 18, 2026, were approved with recorded motions and unanimous votes.
