During the website preview, Gina walked through a forthcoming public service request center that will let residents file mapped service requests and upload photos to illustrate problems. "You’ll be able to geolocate that and then also add a picture," she said, describing how the system will capture location and images to route the request appropriately.
Gina said the request center will create a centralized database so staff can see recent reports, confirm scheduled crews, and track responses. She described escalation rules (for example, if Brandy does not respond in five hours the request will route to Gina) and said the tool will improve transparency by showing what has been reported in the last 30 days. The board did not vote on the feature; staff said rollout will follow the website go-live and inclusion in training for departmental editors.
