NICE Community School District board elects 2025 officers unanimously

The NICE Community School District Board of Education held its organizational meeting electronically on Jan. 20, 2025. Superintendent Bryan DeAugustine called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM and announced members present and absent before the board moved to officer elections.
Chad Korpi nominated Crystal LaFreniere for Board President and, with no other nominations, a motion by Korpi supported by Scott Mann to close nominations and cast a unanimous vote for LaFreniere carried. The board then elected Scott Mann as vice president (motion by Chad Korpi; supported by Jim Gray), Jim Gray as treasurer (motion by Chad Korpi; supported by Scott Mann) and Chad Korpi as secretary (motion by Scott Mann; supported by Jim Gray). The meeting adjourned at 5:17 PM.
