The Board approved a series of procurement and grant actions. Commissioner Talton presented and the Board approved a bid from Five Star Ford for a new 2025 Ford Maverick Hybrid priced at $30,275 to be funded from Water Capital. The Board also approved Plumbline Construction LLC. in an amount not to exceed $80,000 for repair or replacement of the landfill septic tank, drain lines and drain field (Landfill Capital funds).
Ms. Robinson secured approval to award Design-Build services for the HEMA Warehouse to Parrish Construction Group Inc., and to accept Juvenile Justice Grant AW-JJIG-26-191-024 in the amount of $300,000 for the period July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026 with no local match required. She also presented and the Board approved a $56,470.70 quote from BTV Systems to update the Juvenile Court camera system (funded by 2018 SPLOST). All motions were carried unanimously.
