Executive Director Kevin Gentry told the board that, while the authority has had requests to quantify broadband-related inquiries, it does not currently have a formal tracking system. "Based on a review of emails and phone calls, he has received 19 citizen outreach emails and six phone inquiries since mid-January," the minutes state.
Gentry also said he would obtain a deployment percentage from "Tom" for the next meeting after Greg Grichtmeier asked whether that information was available. Board members offered to assist with attendance at events or conferences to help ease Gentry's workload following his recent appointment as County Administrator.
