On the general fund, Marsh reported a midyear surplus of roughly $46,000, which places the year‑end fund balance above budgeted deficit projections. He stressed that one year of data is not a trend and that staff will continue monitoring revenues and expenses for emerging risks.
No formal action was taken; Marsh offered to present more detail at the next council meeting.
