During the business portion of the Dec. 16 meeting the board acknowledged letters of resignation from employees Kelly Cittadino and Hope Marr. Motions to accept those resignations were made and recorded as carried.
The board also approved several hires: it appointed Savana Driesenga as a volunteer 7th-grade volleyball coach (motion by Scott Mann, supported by John Grove), hired Rachel Howe as a custodian (motion by Kathleen Carlson, supported by John Grove), and hired Jillian Mahaffey as Cheerleading Advisor (motion by Crystal LaFreniere, supported by John Grove). The board approved hiring Jessica Scherer as a teacher pending successful completion of all licensure requirements (motion by Kathleen Carlson, supported by John Grove). Each motion was recorded as carried in the minutes.
