County to contact senior residents after online renewal software glitch

I have renewals letters that you can send out...we had a computer glitch," the clerk said while summarizing the problem. The clerk indicated 28 renewals were processed through the software but about 18 people appeared to have been missed and advised sending notices to reassure affected residents that their renewals were valid.
Commissioners instructed staff to investigate individual cases and follow up with letters or calls as appropriate. No policy change was adopted during the meeting; the item was recorded as an administrative correction and outreach plan.
