Board explores indoor recreation at Bolton Hill and staff outlines $1.7M capital priorities

Member Betsy Ingram proposed exploring use of Bolton Hill Sports Complex indoor space for recreation such as pickleball courts. Member Tory Macklin said Territorial Sports Program plans to use part of the complex for batting cages.
CDD Kevin Urban said immediate priorities at Bolton Hill include parking, stormwater, ADA accessibility, a storage/office building, and concession-stand renovation, with a notional project estimate of $1.7 million. Urban added he has applied for a $1 million Oregon State Parks grant and a separate Travel Oregon grant to support those improvements.
