Edisto Beach construction board keeps officers, names Morgan Viars secretary

The Town of Edisto Beach Construction Board of Adjustments and Appeals voted on Jan. 14, 2026 to retain its current officers and to appoint Morgan Viars as the board secretary. Member John Drolet moved to keep Chair Ken Huggins and Vice Chair Byron Briese in their posts; Member Jerry Raines seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
After the officer motion, Chair Ken Huggins moved to nominate Morgan Viars as secretary, with Member Byron Briese seconding. That nomination also passed unanimously. The board took the actions during a regular meeting at Town Hall where all five board members were present.
