Members suggested outreach to local music schools and student ensembles; Frank (S7) and others recommended contacting New World School of the Arts and nearby music programs to source talent. The board emphasized avoiding the appearance of favoring private businesses when choosing venues, saying events should prioritize city-owned or sponsored spaces.
Staff was asked to provide specific performer types and potential partners for the next meeting and to propose a short list of pilot dates and venues.
