Board outlines phased pump and inlet redesign after island flooding

"So now we're going into step 2 or design. Phase 2 of the design of the inlet, the inlet drains," the vice mayor said, and noted the village is evaluating temporary smaller pumps to handle accumulation points until permanent systems are in place. He added a schedule will phase work across islands to avoid simultaneous street closures.
