Public Works update: dump-and-plow delivery may be delayed up to two years; grading underway

At the Oct. 27 special meeting the board heard several Public Works updates. Scott Ovitt said it "could be 2 years before dump and plow can be delivered and installed on the new Western Star cab and chassis (which is already delivered); there may be alternatives to getting it sooner; Scott will look at other options for expediting." The transcript records that staff will explore alternatives and report back to the board.
Board members noted that municipal wastewater project updates and the Simon Operations Agreement proposal related to the water system were discussed under executive session because they are contract matters. Erin (staff) was asked to follow up with the board regarding loan financing status. The transcript also records that a final round of grading is underway for an unspecified project.
