Committee readies interviews to pick designer for LSA-funded Patterson Farm repairs

Fred Childs reported that the township solicited proposals for design and engineering work on five buildings covered by the Pennsylvania Local Share Account (LSA) grant and received three responses. Two firms remain under consideration; the township arranged in-person interviews next Monday that will include two committee members, two Board of Supervisors members and township staff.
Childs said one firm's proposed fee was substantially higher than the other two and the township plans to meet separately with that firm to understand the cost differences. After the interviews, the implementation committee will make a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors; the supervisors will make the final selection for the LSA-funded design contract.
