Residents raise facility and transparency concerns during public comment

Daniel Glenn raised broader concerns about an absence of transparency and about assumptions circulating online. In response to public questions about staff supports, administrators said the district will help affected employees with recommendation letters, outreach to other districts, possible insurance extensions and counseling services.
Board Chair Greg Kintz opened the public question period prior to the board’s vote on Resolution #2026‑01; public comments informed board discussion but did not change the board’s vote that evening.
