Commissioners approve $1,352.10 custodial budget transfer to cover carpet cleaner

The Sweetwater County Board of Commissioners approved a small budget amendment March 4 to move $1,352.10 within the capital budget to pay for a carpet cleaner, keeping general fund reserves untouched.
"The Skidster broom that we purchased came in under, 1,352.10. However, the carpet cleaner estimate is a little bit higher than they anticipated, so we would like to transfer that in," accounting specialist Rebecca Romero told the board during the public hearing. The chair opened the hearing for public comment, and after hearing none commissioners approved Resolution 25-03-CL-01 by unanimous motion.
Romero noted the transfer moves existing capital funds and will not affect county general reserves; the board recorded the motion and authorized the amendment.
