The Okmulgee Board of Education received competitive bids for a $1,515,000 General Obligation Building Bond issue and awarded the sale to Mabrey Bank. Bidders listed in the minutes included Mabrey Bank (Okmulgee branch) in association with American Heritage Bank (Sapulpa) and BOK Financial Securities; Patron's Bank, N.A. in association with the Baker Group; and Legacy Bank of Hinton.
The board adopted a resolution authorizing the issuance, prescribing bond form and levy for principal and interest, and approved awarding the sale to the lowest bidder. The approval was made by motion (moved by Chase Nunn; seconded by Vickie Jones) and carried unanimously, with the minutes recording the issuance/sale going to Mabrey Bank.
