Okmulgee board approves FY27 contracts for vendor services and insurance

The Okmulgee Board of Education voted unanimously on June 9 to approve a set of annual contracts for fiscal year 2027 covering instructional supports, insurance and administrative services. The approvals included contracts with OKTLE, an insurance quote from Jerry Hale Insurance/OSIG, the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center, and the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administrators.
Board members moved each item separately. Leroy Parker moved to approve the OKTLE contract and Chase Nunn seconded; the insurance quote from Jerry Hale Insurance/OSIG was approved on a motion by Nunn and a second from Vickie Jones. Each vote was 5–0 in favor. The board did not record any dissenting or abstaining votes on these FY27 service agreements.
