City Administrator reports progress on City Hall hardening and Public Safety Building remodeling

During the City Administrator update, staff reported that windows for the City Hall Hardening Project should be delivered in about two weeks and that installation will proceed one office at a time, followed by exterior paint touch-ups and landscaping. Public Works Director Hall is working on lighting in the City Hall parking lot and Proctor Construction has measured the Public Safety Building and is preparing a design estimate to be presented in June.
The administrator projected the hardening project to be completed by Thanksgiving and noted that CAS Governmental Services, LLC has been filing required grant reports; an increase to the CAS contract will be proposed in the FY 2026–27 budget to reflect additional work. The resurfacing project at the City's Commerce Center has been completed, staff reported.
