The same speaker said he used AI in preliminary research: "I did some research on it and I'll be honest, I used AI to express my research and it actually helped me find a very good answer."
Supporters described the modification as affordable insurance for emergency rescues and urged further review; multiple council members requested drawings, vendor references, and alternative equipment (rails or different lifts). The council moved to table the item so staff and council members could gather additional information and vendor documentation before a final vote.
