"A motion by Mike Hanson, seconded by John Weyh, to approve the request and waive all usage and electrical fees for 2025 carried 4-1," the minutes record; Councilmember Craig Weinberg cast the lone no vote.
At a public hearing on alcohol licenses for the Cinco De Mayo Fiesta and Farley Fest, no speakers opposed the applications. The council approved the licenses and the requested fee waivers in a 5-0 vote. Council asked the Chamber to provide a summary of events and vendor usage after the events.
