In public comment, Adam Kennedy updated the council on upcoming public-works work: "We've hired Mike Shirley to perform the culvert removal and swale reshaping, and it's scheduled for June 19," he said, adding the cost should be under $500 and within budget. Kennedy also reported he had emailed staff and council a diagram of a damaged 8-inch concrete sewer tile and asked for follow-up.
Council thanked Kennedy for the update and asked staff to keep the council informed as the sewer tile issue develops. The public comment occurred at the start of the special meeting and staff said the culvert work schedule and cost fit within the adopted budget parameters.
