Okeechobee council approves Amendment No. 11 to FDOT traffic-signal agreement (Contract ARW85)

On June 2 the City Council approved Amendment No. 11 to the Florida Department of Transportation Traffic Signal and Maintenance Agreement (Contract No. ARW85), adopted originally by Resolution No. 2015-02. The action authorizes the City Administrator to approve and execute Exhibit A each year, which lists the location of traffic signal devices within city limits and associated compensation amounts.
The motion was offered by Council Member Robert "Bob" Jarriel and seconded by Council Member David R. McAuley; it carried unanimously. The amendment and authorization were incorporated into the official Minute File as Exhibit 6 and will permit annual administrative updates to the list of signal devices and compensation values without returning each change to council approval, as described in the meeting minutes.
