Board approves adult co-ed soccer league at town rec park, sets July 1 start

The board passed Resolution No. 128-26 to authorize hosting an adult co-ed soccer league at the Town Hall Rec Park for summer 2026. Randy Lozier, the point of contact, said he will organize game schedules and officials; minutes record the league will start July 1 and run through August 15. The minutes also say Tiffany Garcia of Northern Insuring has agreed that the town will be listed as additionally insured for liability purposes.
Board members voted 5-0 to approve the request. The minutes note that when a town team has priority for the field, the town team schedule will take precedence and other league games will be rescheduled accordingly; referees and officials will be paid through funds handled by Randy Lozier.
