Galesburg approved an annual maintenance agreement with ProPhoenix Corporation for $99,173.86 to support the police department’s proprietary records and dispatch software.
City Manager Hansen described system capabilities including call-status tracking, officer status, and mobile report entry: "The system allows the officer to see the status of all calls, the status of other officers in the field, and retrieve a call with details in order to allow them to be prepared prior to their arrival at the scene." Staff said sufficient budgeted funds are in place to pay the annual maintenance fee and the contract was approved by unanimous roll call.
