Staff said Daniel Alcorn would serve as lead counsel and Christopher Jupp would take a senior role; the firm will bill at straight hourly rates and no retainer is required.
City Manager Hansen said the city previously had a two-day-a-week agreement with a prior firm and praised the incoming team’s capacity to provide daily representation. Multiple councilmembers expressed support for hiring the firm; the council approved the contract by unanimous roll call.
