Residents worry 115 W. Moyer Road pond could dry during development; engineer says drainage area protects it

During public comment residents of the estate lot at 115 W. Moyer Road said they were concerned that pond sources that supply their homes could dry up when construction begins on the development. The concern was raised as part of the public-comment portion of the March 13 Planning Agency meeting and prompted an engineering response.
Pennoni engineer Allison Lee responded to residents, stating that “there are 4 acres of drainage area that feeds the pond so it will not dry up.” The agency recorded the comment, and no further mitigation actions or plan amendments were adopted at the meeting; the issue remains one for follow-up between the developer, the engineer and township staff as the project advances toward final plan submission.
