Manager Andrew Duncan told the board that Building Inspector Matt Wojaczyk submitted a resignation, noting Wojaczyk accepted a position closer to home after welcoming a daughter in October and traveling over an hour to work. The board voted to accept the resignation.
The board also approved an agreement between Douglass Township and Wojaczyk in a form satisfactory to the township solicitor and voted to hire David Thompson as Assistant Township Manager for building/zoning oversight and other duties as needed. All personnel motions were moved by Chairman Josh Stouch, seconded by Supervisor Don Bergstresser, and passed with both Aye votes.
