The committee revisited plans to conduct a public survey at HarvestFest. Mike McAtamney raised the idea of running a survey at that event and asked whether questions should be reviewed by town staff; Lisa Pratt recommended using the original climate task-force survey as a starting point and having Lee Jay or Brian review questions before deployment.
Members also discussed setting up a tent outside Town Hall on Election Day to distribute surveys or educational materials; no final decision was recorded. Lisa Pratt asked that the committee add forming a task force for a purpose statement to the Aug. 3 agenda so that language and responsibilities can be developed before broad outreach.
