Council OKs Memorial Building use for community craft nights

Heather Zufelt told the council she is organizing craft nights tied to Juab County Fair Committee activities and asked to use the Memorial Building for two Saturdays (third weekend in May and July). She said the events are free and that she will also take fair entries at a separate table. "I'm on the Juab County Fair Committee, and what Jamie's kind of put me in charge of is collecting fair entries for Eureka," she said.
Council members confirmed that the events are free and clarified logistics such as whether the fair committee is nonprofit and how long the applicant needs the Memorial Building; the council moved, seconded and approved the request by roll call with unanimous 'Aye' votes. Staff were asked to collect event flyers for City Hall and to coordinate building use and any necessary purchase orders.
