County to host Applied Pavement survey April 20; UCRA briefing set for April 14

Staff notified the board that Applied Pavement Technology plans to be on-site at the Manila airfield on April 20 to survey airside pavement areas, weather permitting. The email said the survey will use a vehicle equipped with a beacon and radio and that schedule changes will be communicated if needed.
Separately, staff reminded commissioners of a 5 p.m. April 14 meeting at Flaming Gorge Lodge to meet with Utah Colorado River Authority commissioners and the UCRA executive director; a virtual call will be available for questions. Commissioners discussed the April 28 UAC commission day in St. George and agreed to cancel local commission and NBA meetings that week unless urgent business requires scheduling.
Clerk and staff also reminded the board of RDA report dates (June 3, August 1) and noted the county's RDA reporting will transition to a new attorney in 2027.
