Wayland DPW recommends review of Transfer Station funding; staff to share draft letter with Select Board

Director Tom Holder said the department typically sees about $60,000 in revenue during June from sticker sales. Vice-Chair Wegerbauer reported he had not received the electronic renewal notice and asked staff to check spam filters. Wegerbauer also reported that consultant Uveges drafted a letter to the Select Board recommending the Transfer Station revert from an enterprise fund to a revolving fund because it does not appear self-sustaining without outside support; the Board agreed to include the letter in the next meeting packet for review and to solicit consultant feedback.
