At its Feb. 24 meeting the Red Lion Borough Planning Commission recorded the following formal actions.
- Approval of minutes: Mrs. Barley moved to approve the Dec. 16, 2024 meeting minutes; Ms. Nidam seconded. "All were in favor; motion carried."
- Zoning appeal (201 S. Charles St.): The Commission voted to make no recommendation to the Zoning Hearing Board concerning Sandra Pietrowicz’s request for a Special Exception and Variance due to insufficient evidence about designated parking and space dimensions. Motion carried.
- Transient-permitting ordinance: The Commission tabled consideration of draft revisions that include a proposed nonprofit exemption; staff and counsel will revise language and return with stakeholder input.
- Sign ordinance: Mrs. Slenker moved to table review of the Sign Ordinance until March; Mrs. Barley seconded and the motion carried.
- Adjournment: Meeting adjourned at 9:16 p.m. on a motion by Mrs. Barley.
These motions were recorded in the meeting minutes; the Commission did not adopt binding zoning changes—it forwards recommendations to Borough Council or the Zoning Hearing Board as appropriate.
