The Burlington Planning & Zoning Commission voted July 27 to recommend three zoning items to the Burlington City Council:
• Rezoning 26-03 (0 Ross Street) — motion to recommend approval carried; staff described the parcel as 1.58 acres with split zoning and recommended HDR for consistency with the comprehensive plan.
• TRCPD-25-002 (Stewart Village) — commission recommended the plan development for roughly 68 acres proposing 251 single-family lots and about 20–21 acres of open space; staff recommended and the motion carried.
• TRCPD-26-002 (Peacehaven Farm) — commission recommended annexation and PD zoning for about 89 acres to allow an integrated community campus; the applicant presented caps on density (1.25 units/acre) and commercial square footage (150,000 sq ft) and described programmatic goals. Staff will prepare each item for council consideration; the chair noted the items' next step is the council work session.
