Consultant Chris Lowe of Government Professional Services met with the Alliance City Council during the Nov. 4 meeting to refine the recruitment parameters for a new City Manager. After discussion Council members agreed on a salary range of $145,000 to $190,000 to be included in the advertisement and recruitment materials.
The agreed range will be used by staff and the recruitment consultant as they advertise the position and evaluate candidates. The Council did not take additional personnel actions at the meeting; the recruitment process will proceed under the consultant's guidance and the Council's established range.
