Planning commission proposes new definitions for 'apartment complex' and 'apartment house' in sign rules

Commissioners also discussed defining an 'Identification of Apartment House' as 'a building occupied by 3 or more dwelling units' and adding that definition in all zones. The minutes show the change was proposed for Residential Town, Residential Outlying, Commercial and Industrial zones (for apartment complex language) and for all zones (for apartment house). No final vote on the ordinance text was recorded; the item remained under discussion for further review.
