Administrator Peter Them praised the Street, Parks and Water & Sewer departments for rapid responses during the storm, saying water breaks were repaired 'in record time' and damaged mailboxes have been repaired or replaced as of that afternoon. Council members complimented staff; Councilman Keith Bacin singled out crews for prompt action on downed mailboxes.
The administration provided a schedule of upcoming committee meetings related to capital expenditures but did not present specific new budget items during the Feb. 2 session.
