During the Aug. 13 joint session, Chair (speaker 1) entertained a motion to approve minutes. Mayor Williams moved and Council member Caballero seconded the motion; the chair called for ayes and announced the minutes were approved.
After approving the minutes, the boards agreed to schedule follow-ups: a full presentation of DPS material to the full city council, staff follow-up on neighborhood-level student-generation data, and further consideration of forming a DPS–city–county task force to coordinate capital and planning responses to projected enrollment growth.
