Selectmen set workshops on parking and dog ordinances, update ACO and Emergency Management job descriptions

Roxbury selectmen scheduled a Parking Ordinance workshop for Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m. and a Dog Ordinance workshop for Sept. 10 at 5:00 p.m. The board also approved updates to the Animal Control Officer and Emergency Management Director job descriptions.
Selectman Timothy Derouche moved to update the job descriptions as written; Ray Hodsdon seconded and the motion passed 3-0. The minutes note the procurement and pay policies are still under development and the Comprehensive Plan currently has three volunteers; Site Review and EMA & Naming and Numbering ordinances are listed as ready for Town Meeting.
The board reiterated upcoming meeting dates including an Aug. 27 Selectmen meeting at 6:00 p.m. and a Sept. 11 winter equipment inspection at 2:00 p.m.
