Roxbury plans heating upgrades; roof replacement funding deferred until town meeting

The board reported heat pumps will be installed on Oct. 7, with the boiler scheduled for the following week. To prepare for electrical work tied to the heating upgrade, Selectman Matthew Patneaude moved and the board voted 3-0 to contact Bruce Waugh to handle electrical work for the heating system.
Board members flagged the roof as a pending capital need; they said finishing funding for a retainer wall also likely requires a special town meeting and probably will not happen this year. No timeline or dollar amounts for the roof were provided in the minutes.
