Angie Ecklund and Tricia Roslund, representing the Chamber, presented an updated partnership proposal to the Downtown Development Authority on July 21, 2026 that would begin in 2027 and run three years.
The proposal would use DDA-supported funding for an "Announcer" promotional product highlighting local businesses and events and for digital billboard placements. Ecklund and Roslund also provided the board an update on plans for the upcoming M45 Celebration. "This will be considered at following meeting," the Chamber representatives told the board, and the DDA did not take action at the July session.
The presentation did not include a finalized budget or an agreed start date beyond the proposed 2027 term; board members asked that the Chamber return with more detail at the next meeting so the DDA can review how the proposal would fit into the DDA's capital and promotional spending plans.
