Members emphasized scheduling and a simple agreement to allow short-term use without permanently blocking revenue. "If we gave it that slip or slips full time during the summer, it would cost the town $3,000 approximately in lost rent," the Chair said. Council asked staff to contact the foundation for a proposed schedule and to draft a simple agreement rather than committing to long-term free use. The council signaled support for pursuing a short-term trial that protects rental income while enabling occasional visits.
